<<<JJ The Jet plane has the x factor>>>
Having his first run back in South Africa after a successful campaign in Dubai and the UK, JJ The Jet Plane raced on 29 May 2010 in the Golden Horse Casino Sprint  (Grade 1) over 1200m at Scottsville in South Africa.

As reported by Lucky Houdalakis in previous weeks he felt that JJ was well but may not have been at his peak fitness and that was his only concern when entering the Casino Sprint. When  JJ entered the parade ring he looked a picture! JJ was ridden by his previous pilot, Pierre “Striker” Strydom and according to Strydom post race,  “JJ went down to the start beautifully and had never felt better”, JJ certainly came back crossing the finish line in fine style  winning by 2 lengths and silencing many critics!

JJ showed his true class by winning this race for the second time in his racing career - this feat was achieved by his Sire, Jet Master in 1999 and 2000. JJ is also the first SA horse to return from an overseas campaign and win his first start back, especially a Group 1 (Surveyor  won a C division handicap in 2006).

JJ has returned to his home at the Vaal  to prep for his next challenge,  to regain his Mercury Sprint crown! Good luck to owners Hennie du Preez, Thea Boyens, Coenie Strydom, Lucky and Nat Houdalakis and the whole T&L Racing Team!
